GLOSARY

20 WORDS:

Deslizamiento: Glide: To move an element carefully over a surface, to make something arrive overcoming a difficulty, to flow in a certain direction or to deliver something in a disguised way

Rodamiento: Tread:  It is the set of spheres that are joined by an inner and an outer ring, the bearing produces movement to the object that is placed on it and moves on which it rests.

Contraer: Contract:Reduce to smaller size or volume

Tensar: Tense: Comes from the Latin vulgar * tensāre, derived from the Latin tensus, passive participle of tendĕre, tend, unfold

Artrocinematica: Arthrocinematica: It is the part of biomechanics that studies the displacement of bones in space regardless of the muscles that contract to achieve it. They are the movements that are seen through a simple observation.

Miocinematica: Myokiematics: It is the part of biomechanics that studies the displacement of muscles in space with the importance of the movements that are contracted to achieve it. They are the movements that are seen through a simple observation.

Capsula articular: Joint Capsule: Is a bundle formed by fibrous tissue that surrounds a movable joint.

• Biomecánica:Biomechanics: Science that studies the forces and accelerations that act on living organisms.

• Movimiento: Movement: Change of place or position of a body in space.

• Fuerza:Force: Physical ability to perform a job or a movement.

• Planos:Planes: Are spatial references that serve to describe the disposition of the different tissues, organs and systems, and the relationships that exist between them.

• Ejes: Axis: We refer to the axis as that imaginary line that crosses the body.

• Analisis:Analysis: Detailed examination of a thing to know its characteristics or qualities, or its status, and draw conclusions, which is done separating or considering separately the parts that constitute it.

• Estático: Static: Part of the mechanics that studies the laws of the balance of bodies.

• Dinamico:Dynamic: Part of the physics that studies movement in relation to the causes that produce it.

• Cinematica: Kinematic: Part of the mechanics that deals with movement in its conditions of space and time, without taking into account the causes that produce it.

• Proximal: Which is closer to the axis or midline of the organism or the start of a member or other organ.

• Distal: Which is more distant from the axis or midline of the organism, or the removal of a limb or other organ.

• Cinematic chain: Is the functional dynamic unit of the system. It is composed of successive bone chains and the corresponding BioMechanical Units

• Human march:
The human march is a mode of bipedal locomotion with alternating activity of the
inferior limbs, characterized by a succession of double support and unipodal support, is say that during the march the support never leaves the ground, while in the race, as in the jump, there are aerial phases, in which the body is suspended for a moment.
